Russia: Striptease charity
A strip show was turned into a fundraiser. A charity and the owner of an American bar in Moscow hosted a show with the original purpose of collecting food, blankets and warm clothing for needy people in Russia, faced with increasingly lower temperatures in the country. The ticket for the show was paid for with non-perishable food and winter clothing.
Igor Chersky, director of the charity Help Fair, promoting the event, said the first time a show where women took off their clothes and wrap dress served to needy people who can not afford to protect themselves from the harsh winter.
